The QuestUAV SURVEYOR PRO solution is aimed at the advanced user who is looking to obtain high grade data and accuracy.
The SURVEYOR PRO is for is best suited for more established users who are looking to invest long term. The solution is aimed at allowing the user to remain active in their service for longer by providing everything nessessary to perform their job and to remain consistantly airworthy, saving them time, resources and costs.
The QuestUAV Surveyor has been designed to allow you to capture the all important data in the quickest way possible, drastically saving you time and money.
The data capable of capturing covers a wide range of applications and industry including agriculture for land survey (2cm res), archaeology for site investigation, Fluvial/Glacial/Cadastral surveys, high altitude surveys, land management, Stock Pile Volume Estimation and many more applications.

Keep up to-date without sourcing whole new systems. The QuestUAV Q-Pod technology allows a series of modular payload bays to be attached to your UAV. Opt for different sensors or upgrade to new sensors when they become available.
This technology is a breakthrough in low-cost commercial UAV, giving you an unparalleled capability to benefit from the latest sensor designs and developments.

The sensor is the heart of your UAV and depending on which sensor you choose will determine what data you UAV is capable of collecting.
Survey large areas of land in high detail with our QuestUAV Surveyor drone. At the heart of the UAV sits a the Sony A6000 visible (RGB) sensor which captures high definition geo-referenced images which are suitable for post analysis of the survey area.
The Sony A6000 captures the finest detail with the DSLR-sized 24.3 effective megapixel APS-C sensor. Using the 16mm wide angle lens we are able to capture data down to 2.9cm GSD resolution at 400ft. The A6000 is equipped with a Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor usually found inside a DSLR to ensure an extremely fast performance, sharp image quality and low noise images, even in low light conditions.
The sensor is triggered automatically by the autopilot through an infra red sensor. This means that there is no modification to the camera ensuring that replacements are at regular prices rather than highly inflated OEM prices.
When the mission has finished all images and their corresponding coordinates cab be inputted into our modeling software (upgrade option) where 2D orthomosaics, 3D surface models and point clouds can be generated.

Our autopilots provide selectable levels of user control from full-autonomy to manual override. In full autonomous mode the autopilot provides auto-launch, waypoint navigation, task/payload management and auto-recovery solutions. In assisted mode the autopilot provides stabilised flight control in pitch, roll and yaw. Manual override provides the operator with the ability to take complete control at any time during the flight.
The in-built telemetry solution provides two levels of data to the ground: essential flight critical and mission management information with the option of full aircraft state and instrumentation outputs. The powerful software suite includes both routine operational mission management and an integrated data acquisition system. Data can be logged to file for inspection after the flight.
Standard mission planning functionality is available and includes common tasks such as survey, monitoring and data acquisition. Simple to use software enables operators to automatically generate survey grids, select payload and cameras settings, place navigation waypoints, home position and emergency reference point. Safety settings, including maximum distance limits, battery condition and data-link quality provide additional mission management functions.
The SURVEYOR PRO comes equipped with our custom built single gimbal system to furthe help obtain the best quality data.
Made from a robust ABS construction, the twin gimbal allows self stabilisation of the aircraft's roll axis. No matter how turbulent the flight is, the sensor will always be stable and pointing in the right place!
Buy into endurance. Built with durability and long service in mind, our UAV’s use only the highest quality processes and the toughest building materials.
Precision engineering techniques, rigorous testing and off-the-shelf spares will ensure that a QuestUAV will be ready to fly, even under the toughest conditions.
The Parachute Recovery Option Upgrade
Create a safer and easier operating environment by upgrading to our parachute option. This makes the general operation of the UAV simpler for inexperienced users, or for landing in small spaces.
The parachute is deployed through a switch on the pilot’s transmitter, giving the pilot control over exact time of deployment - a key factor in any successful UAV parachute deployment. The parachute can also be deployed as a safety function should the pilot consider that the UAV or the flight is in danger.
The Post Processing Software Option Upgrade
Once your mission has been completed and your data have been collected, the next step is to process this data to acquire the information you require to make the all important decisions. Upgrade this package with industry standard leading Pix4Dmapper software to generate high resolution georeferenced, survey-grade accurate orthomosaics, DSMs and Point clouds in a few clicks. The fully automated workflow enables a non-specialist to process thousands of aerial images on a desktop computer to produce professional class photogrammetric data.
